Bio X Hawaii responded to a call for murder cleanup in the Makiki neighborhood of Honolulu in early September. Always ready to handle blood cleanup whenever the need arises, we are passionate about protecting our neighbors throughout Hawaii.
Stabbing in Makiki
In the late afternoon hours of Friday, September 2nd, Honolulu Police responded to a call from a clean and sober house on Mott Smith Drive in the Makiki neighborhood of Honolulu about a stabbing. When police arrived, they saw a man who was shirtless with blood on his legs, arms, and back. Another resident claims he also saw the suspect holding a six-inch blade covered in blood. When asked if he was okay, the man responded, “I just killed a guy inside there.” When police went upstairs to investigate, they found the victim lying in a bedroom with multiple stab wounds to his neck, head, and chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A resident of the home who was in his bedroom downstairs heard the argument but didn’t think anything of it as the two men often argued. Neighbors also said it was not unusual to hear screams coming from the home and police said they have responded to calls at that address in the past.
The suspect has since been charged with second-degree murder with $1 million bail and is awaiting trial.
